Good question when especially Im no expert and just a newbie。 I usually observe their behavior, any difference from usual and I do very often play with them, bare hands。 While doing that, will check on their body and other parts for white spot and etc。 I now avoid over feeding。 I feed only 3 times, little amount of sinking pellets and sometimes, FBW。 I check for clarity of water。 So far so good。 Im sharing based on my experience。
Tub or tank, go with your preference。 I prefer tub as I like to admire them from the top and most importantly, aquariumboston easier for me to play with them and scoop WC frequently。 Thats my preference。
You asked about pricing。 I dont think you can compare ringgit with S。 Definitely S more ex bro。 Anyway, price is a sensitive issue to discuss here。 Go check around yourself bro。
>I know many will not agree with water clarity but Im sharing based on my own personal experience。 At least clarity gives me a sense of security as I have ever faced 4 fish died in a single night and water was dirty, cloudy and unclear。 And becos of that incident, I had hard time sleeping cos I was so worried that my fish would die when I woke up the next day。 Now I dont have such issue, sleep peacefully。
>I kept in both tanks and tubs。
But i would say tubs are more suitable for ranchus。
